Michael A. Perelman Ph.D.
Michael A. Perelman, Ph.D. is the Co-Director of the Human Sexuality Program, and Emeritus Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, Reproductive Medicine, and Urology at Weill Cornell Medicine/New York-Presbyterian. He is also the founder of the MAP Education & Research Foundation, a public charity dedicated to educating healthcare providers about the importance of maintaining a biomedical-psychosocial behavioral and cultural approach to the diagnosis and treatment of sexual disorders.
Perelman is a former president of the Society for Sex Therapy and is the emeritus editor-in-chief of Current Sexual Health Reports. He has presented his Sexual Tipping Point Model at professional meetings around the world and has published widely in the professional literature. He is frequently quoted and often featured by the media.
